In cooperation with the Deutscher Kinderschutzbund (German Association for the Protection of Children - DKSB), TÜV NORD CERT has among other things developed test criteria for child-friendliness in hotels, holiday homes and guesthouses. This means that for the first time, an independent seal of quality exists in Germany for child-friendly goods and services, for "If the child-friendly seal is outside, it is child-friendly inside". In this way "child-friendliness" should become established as a productivity factor within companies and organisations, helping to create positive conditions for young people and their families, along with a child- and family-friendly environment.
